Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has Approved the appointment of Prince Adeagbo Morufu Atanda as the new Olórígo of Orígo in Egbedore local government area of Osun State.
This was confirmed in a statement signed by Bashir Oladipupo for the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs dated January 20, 2023.
Oladipupo said the appointment takes effect from Tuesday, January 27, 2023, in accordance with section 20 subsection 1 of the Chief’s Law Cap 25, Laws of Osun State 2002.
The appointment is coming after the governor in December 2022, approved the appointment of Dr Adebayo Faforiji as the new Alamuye of Amuye Faforiji in Atakunmosa East local government area of the state.
