Adeleke Assures Cordial Relationship With Osun Assembly

The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has assured that his government will work tireless to maintain cordial relationships among all arms of government.

Adeleke made this known while addressing lawmakers of Osun State House of Assembly on Tuesday during the inauguration of the 8th Assembly.

The governor noted that legislature is a critical symbol of democracy.

“As a former lawmaker, now occupying the executive office, it is my sacred duty to ensure cordial relationships among all arms of government. I will spare no effort in that direction."

Adeleke also charged the lawmakers to be up to their legislative duties.

"Our task as elected officials is service to the people. We must abandon all personal interest to service public expectations.

“Our approach has been local content, direct labour and value for money within the context of due process.”

The Speaker, Adewale Egbedun also revealed that he House will review all laws passed by the 7th Assembly.
