Adeleke Directs Security Agencies To Track, Rescue Kidnapped

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has directed an immediate search and rescue mission for the five members of a Baptist Church who were recently kidnapped under controversial circumstances.

The Governor in a statement by Olawale Rasheed, his spokesperson on Tuesday also directed the State Commissioner of Police and other security agencies to take up the matter and ensure the safe return of the victims.

In line with the directves, it was gathered the Commissioner of Police, Patrick Kehinde Longe consequently activated local and inter-state operations to locate and rescue the victims.

Governor Adeleke further reassured families of the victims that no stone will be left unturned to rescue their loved ones in captivity.

Last week, that church members who are also farmers were kidnapped on their way home from their farm along Ile-Ogbo in Ola-Oluwa local government area of the state.
