American multinational computer software company, Adobe has introduced a new upgrade called Camera Raw to Photoshop on the iPad ahead of its Max conference on October 26.
The new features will enable users to use its Camera Raw tools to import RAW files from the camera to the iPad.
The feature can be used to import any file format Camera Raw currently supports. That includes the ProRAW files that Apple iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can output.
Users will have access to all the usual adjustments you’ll find on the desktop version of Camera Raw once an image is loaded authorising users to adjust things like the exposure and colour of the photo.
The feature makes it possible for users to import RAW files as a Smart Object into Photoshop. This means that users can add their image to a PSD, open the resulting file in Photoshop desktop and still have access to the embedded file and adjustments.
Adobe says Camera Raw is coming to Photoshop on the iPad soon.
