Just last December, it was revealed by the showrunners that the show would be making a return, and now Screenrant reports that according to rumours, the reboot will be made available on the small screen at the end of the year or in the early part of 2022.
Picking up 10 years after the season finale, it "will not be on Carly becoming a TikTok star, but rather it will explore her journey through her twenties alongside friends and family."

Created by Dan Schneider, iCarly aired on Nickelodeon from September 8, 2007, until November 23, 2012. It stars Miranda Cosgrave as the eponymous character, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor.
The sitcom tells the story of a teenager, Carly Shay, who creates her own online show called 'iCarly' with her best friends in the apartment loft in which she resides with her older brother. The web show becomes a success and the teens have to balance their lives with their newfound fame.
The reboot was ordered by Paramount +, and stars Cosgrave, Kress and Trainor will return to reprise their roles respectively.
iCarly is a show loved by a vast number of Nigerians and many will look forward to watching the upcoming reboot when it airs, especially with the fact that two of Nigeria's comic sensations, the Ikorodu Bois and Emmanuella, were recently nominated for the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
