AfCFTA: Nigeria Will Excel In Service Delivery - Nuka

 

Executive Director of Nigeria Private Sector Alliance, Mr Nwiabu Nuka, says Nigeria will excel in service delivery with the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) billed to start in July 2020.

Nuka disclosed this at the Annual National Economic Dialogue 2020 tagged “Positioning Nigeria’s Creative Industry as Growth Engine of Africa Continental Trade Agreement (AFCTA)” and organised by Greener's Business-to-Business in Abuja on Saturday.

Nuka said Nigeria’s strength was centred on service which so far can be taken across the borders for the AfCFTA which the country approves.

He also added that the Nigerian music, fashion, food and banks are doing much on a global stance and gradually are spreading their wings across most African countries.

Director of Programmes, British Council Nigeria Mrs Ojoma Ochai, expressed deep satisfaction in the Federal Government’s new visa regime.

Ochai said that many people who were interested in establishing businesses in Nigeria were hindered due to unexplained reasons, can now leverage on this policy.

She urged government at all levels to give opportunities to every Nigerian youth to explore and grow financially.

Also, the former President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Ms Iyalode Alaba Lawanson, said Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are very important to economic development hence the government should channel effort toward promoting its growth.

Lawanson also urged young entrepreneurs to stay focus and determined at pursuing their business growth.
