He added that the former Nigerian defender will receive match bonuses given the Super Eagles' progression into the round of 16.
“Eguavoen is on the payroll of the NFF and he won’t be entitled to salary for the role he is playing as an interim coach of the team,” Pinnick explained to Arise TV.
“He will be entitled to the winning bonuses as the team progresses at the tournament.”
Eguavoen's role can not be overlooked as the Nigerian national team has been excellent at the tournament in Cameroon winning three matches out of the first three in the group stage.
He is due to hand over to Jose Peseiro after the tournament but it remains to be seen if that would happen as many suggested that he should remain at the helms of things for the Super Eagles if he could win the trophy.
