AFCON 2022: Mane, Mendy, Aboubakar Win Individual Award

Sadio Mane's Senegal clinched the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in the nation's history as they defeated Egypt on penalties on Sunday in Cameroon but that was not the only accolade available for the taking.

At the end of the tournament, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) also awarded individual awards to players at the tournament.

Senegalese goalkeeper -- Edouard Mendy won the Keeper of the Tournament although many believe that Abou Gabal was more exceptional in the tournament.

Cameroonian Vincent Aboubakar won the Top Goalscorer award -- although he could not lead his side to the final.

Sadio Mane won the Tournament's best player after leading his side to their ever first AFCON title.
