Aftermath Of Rainfall: Properties Destroyed In Ijebu-Ode

Following the aftermath of the rainfall in some parts of the Southwest between Saturday and Sunday, residents of Ijebu-Ode have lamented the wanton destruction.

It was reported that properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed.

Mostly affected were Mobalufon and the Latogun new site axis of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The residents while lamenting their loss also called on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other relevant organisations to come to their aid.

The onset of the rainy season is always occasioned by the destruction of properties as a result of the winds associated with the first rains.
