Following another invasion of Kaduna community, bandits have abducted a Catholic priest identified as Reverend Father Abraham in the Kachia Local Government Area of the state.
Rev. Fr. Abraham was abducted in his hometown, Kurmin Sara in the early hours of Tuesday.
Daily Trust reports that the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the state, Reverend Joseph Hayeb confirmed the incident.
“It is a sad situation because he is the priest of Idom but was picked at his village Kurmin Sara in Kachia LGA.
"It’s a very sad situation because many things are happening in the state unreported,” he said.
Meanwhile, details of how the Catholic Priest was abducted remain sketchy.
However, the CAN chairman in the state added that the government needed to do more in protecting people from terrorists in the state.
