Again, Fatai Osho Parts Ways With Rivers United

Fatai Osho has once again parted ways with former Nigeria Premier League (NPL) champions Rivers United.

The chief coach announced his resignation on Tuesday via his official Twitter page.

He previously resigned two months ago but rescinded his decision after the club’s management waded into the matter.

Osho wrote on Twitter: “I want to thank the entire Rivers United FC management, staff and coaching crew for my stay in this great club.

"It has been a worthwhile experience and a memorable one at that as I resign my position as the Chief Coach of this great club."

Osho was appointed chief coach of the Pride of Rivers two years ago.

He played a crucial role in ensuring that Rivers United were crowned NPL champions for the first time in the club's history during the 2021-22 campaign.

His departure makes Rivers United the third top club in the Nigerian top-flight division that he previously coached alongside Remo Stars and Enyimba.
