A Palestinian worker was shot dead by Israeli forces on Sunday while crossing a security barrier in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the man killed as Nabil Ghanem, a 53-year-old from the West Bank city of Nablus.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa added that Ghanem was among the tens of thousands of West Bank Palestinians who regularly seek work in Israel.
His killing comes amid a spike in Israeli-Palestinian violence.
45 Palestinians have killed in the West Bank, including an Al-Jazeera journalist who was covering a raid in Jenin.
19 people, including 18 inside Israelis and a Jewish settler, have been killed in attacks by Palestinians and Israeli Arabs since late March this year.
Among the spikes are three Palestinians who were killed on Friday by Israeli forces during an army raid in Jenin.
