Following the signing of the MOU, the representative of AllNews Nigeria, Temi Bamgbose, enlightened the creative industry experts on the need to be more visible as shining stars on and off-camera.

Bamgbose said, "We at AllNews.ng, believe that the AGN is a shining light; every talent in the Actors Guild of Nigeria is a star. And we believe that those stars should be seen from every angle, from every perspective. It should not be restricted to just the stage or the front of the camera.

"Because there are many people who are looking to those stars to model their own lifestyle. That is why this partnership is important to us. And it is important to Nigeria of today.

"So, we have created several mechanisms. We have created several tools that will be very easy to use for all the members of AGN to project their image by themselves with our help.

"So, ladies and gentlemen of AGN, we from AllNews.ng, thank you very much for this partnership and we are looking forward to a very fruitful relationship that will bring the creative industry in Nigeria at par with every other counterpart of it in this world."

Speaking on the partnership, the AGN president Emeka Rollas said: "I have tried my best in the last two years of my leadership trying to get close to the press.

"I found out that it's easier for the press to report your scandal than to promote who you are. I began to ask a lot of questions. I said, why is it like that?

"We as actors, we are also in the same family. We are like media people. Why is it that the media is still seeing us as enemies? I said maybe we are not speaking the language they understand.

"That we are going to come up with something new. Partner with a one-media company that will help us develop media strategies to discuss with their colleagues.

"And that was how we came up with this partnership with AllNews.ng. It then means that henceforth, we have a body that is partnering with us that sees it as we see it.

"That sees it from our perspective, not from the media perspective. They will be able to take what we want to give to the public, look at it to see whether it fits going there or going out to the media before we take it to the media.

"In other words, they are acting as a bridge between the guild and the media. And we saw it was a wonderful arrangement and that's why we entered into that MOU."
