The Kano Pillars forward took to his verified Instagram page last Thursday to eulogise his wife who he described as “great mum and a loving wife.”
The 28-year-old thanked Juliet for “choosing to be on this journey with me” while promising that “if I had to choose again, it will be you.”
“Days have turned to months, and months into years and if I had to choose again, it will be you. On this special day, our anniversary, I want to thank you for choosing to be on this journey with me,” the post read.
“A great mum and a loving wife. Cheers to many more years. Happy anniversary Wifey, ” Musa adds.
In April 2017, Musa, while still playing for Leicester City, was involved in a dispute with his former wife Jamila, resulting in the UK police being called to his home. Shortly afterwards, the couple were divorced following "irreconcilable differences".
On 23 May 2017, Musa married present wife, Juliet Ejue, at Abuja. They welcomed a baby boy named Ahmed Musa Jr in 2020.
