The 28-year-old played the entire first-half as the game went into the break with the Sai Masu Gida leading by two goals to nil.
After the break, Acting Technical Adviser of the club, Ibrahim Musa substituted all the eleven players, including Musa.
The Aiteo Cup holders scored a further three goals in the second half while Dabo Babes scored two late goals to end the contest 5-2 victory in favour of Kano Pillars.
After the match, Coach Musa said the match is part of the preparations ahead of the kickoff of the second stanza of the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) expected to begin 9th of May.
The tactician believes that organizing such matches will help his players to be fitter, and also to give Musa an opportunity to have pre-knowledge of Nigerian sides after many years abroad.
He commended Dabo Babes’ fighting spirit throughout the match and promised to play more warm-up matches so as to give the newly signed players the chance to showcase what they are made up of.
Meanwhile, Musa has donated the sum of Two Million Naira (N2 million) to Army Day Secondary School, Bukavu Barrack - for the construction of Mosque in the school premises.
The former CSKA Moscow forward made the donation when he visited the school after completing the routine training with the Sai Masu Gida on Thursday.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner as well promised to provide furnitures (desks) to some classes in the school.
While addressing the students, Musa charged them to focus more on their studies and warned them to shun drug abuse and other social vices in order to be productive to themselves, their families and the society at large.
According to Kano Pillars media, Musa reiterated his determination to support any move that would promote Islamic and Western Education.
The national team captain then expressed appreciation to the teachers of the school for providing quality education to the students and urged them to sustain their professionalism.
In his remarks, Director of the school, Alhaji Yusuf Sa’idu, thanked Musa for the visit and wished him God's guidance in his career.
