Aisha Buhari Condoles Florence Ajimobi Over Husband's Death

Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari has commiserated with Florence, the wife of former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, who died on Thursday. 

AllNews gathers that Ajimobi had been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of First Cardiology Consultants Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos, since he was rushed to the medical centre recently after it emerged he had contracted the dreaded Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In a social media post on Friday, Aisha described Ajimobi's death as a great loss, just as she extended her condolences to Florence.

She wrote "It is with heavy hearts that my family and I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to H.E. Mrs Florence Ajimobi the wife to late H.E. Sen Ajimobi a former governor of Oyo state over the death of your dear husband and your entire family over this great loss,” she wrote.

“May the soul of Senator Abiola Ajimobi rest in perfect peace and forgive his shortcomings.

"May the almighty Allah provide comfort to your family at this trying period. Please rest assured that my family is with you at this time of grief.”
