Aisha Yesufu Calls For Buhari's Resignation Amid Katsina Boys' Kidnap

Activist, Aisha Yesufu, has called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari following the kidnap of over 400 schoolboys from the Government Secondary School, Kankara, in Katsina State. The students were kidnapped by bandits who have been terrorising the northern states within the country.

The kidnap of the schoolboys occured in the same state President Buhari is observing his private visit. The kidnap is one of many attacks by bandits, resulting into a renewed call for the President to resign from his position. Two weeks ago, about 47 farmers were beheaded by Boko Haram terrorists.

While commenting on the kidnapping, Yesufu said, "Buhari has to resign." adding that, "Just came back to social media after my massage to see students were abducted in Katsina. What the freaking hell?! With Buhari in Daura? Dear Nigerians we cannot continue like this."

"My children could be one of those kidnapped." Yesufu tweeted. She also stated, "When Buhari went to Maiduguri, the terrorists attacked few hours after he left Maiduguri, now Buhari is in Katsina with the supposed security around and our children abducted from school in Katsina?"
