In the early hours of Sunday, Nelli Tembe, the 22-year-old fiancée of famous South African musician, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known as AKA, died after she fell from the tenth floor of a hotel in central Cape Town.
The details of the incident are not quite clear but the police have confirmed that they are investigating the death which happened at Pepperclub Hotel.

Speaking on the incident, Western Cape SA Police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk said, "Cape Town Central police are investigating an inquest case after an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7.45 am on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets, Cape Town CBD, where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased."
Nelli Tembe and AKAPepperclub Hotel general manager Efi Ella also confirmed that a young woman had fallen from one of the upper floors of the hotel at 7.30 am on Sunday.
In an official statement released by the Forbes and Tembe families, Nelli's death was confirmed and the public has been asked to give the family privacy and time to heal from their grief.
