    A new Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Council has been sworn-in following the death of Honourable Emmanuel Leweh a week ago. 

    The deputy Chairman, Safiyanu Isa, has been sworn-in as successor by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State. 

    Governor Sule administered the oath on Friday at the Government House, Lafia. 

    Isa who hails from Andaha is to run the affairs of the Council till October 8, 2024.
