Former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala
The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has confirmed the death of Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Makinde reacted while speaking at an inter-faith prayer session organised for Oyo State workers at the state secretariat, Ibadan on Wednesday.
The governor who was in a state of shock revealed that he just received the news of the demise of the former governor.
Makinde who could not deliver his speech due to the development prayed for the family of the deceased and called on everyone present at the prayer session to observe a minute silence.
Alao-Akala was a former local government chairman, former deputy governor, and former governor who died on Wednesday at the age of 71.
