Alec Baldwin: Actor's Brother Reacts Following Fatal Shooting On Movie Set

Stephen Baldwin, the brother of actor Alec Baldwin, has reacted after the fatal shooting in which his sibling killed one crew member and injured another.

Tragedy had struck on the set of the movie Rust when Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun, injuring director Joel Souza and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Reacting to the news, Stephen Baldwin speaking via an Instagram post called for prayers for his embattled brother.

Captioning the post with a purple cross emoji and adding the hashtag #Psalm91, he wrote: "Asking for prayers tonight friends not much can be said other than please pray for all involved in the tragic in the wake of this tragic accident thank you."

Reports say that Alec Baldwin was distraught after the unfortunate incident; an expected development given the enormity of his unintentional action.

Producers of Rust have announced that production on the film will be halted for an “undetermined amount of time” in the aftermath of Hutchins' death.
