Alex Telles Seals Permanent Move To Al-Nassr

Brazil defender Alex Telles has switched from Manchester United to Saudi Pro League (SPL) side Al-Nassr in a permanent transfer.

His transfer fee and length of contract are yet to be confirmed by either club.

United in a statement on their website confirmed his departure, saying: "We'd like to thank Alex for his contributions to the club over the last three years and would like to wish him all the best for the future."

Telles joined United from Porto for £13.6 million in 2020 and made 50 appearances in the colours of the Red Devils.

Before Saudi Arabia came calling, the 30-year-old left-back spent last season on loan at Sevilla after struggling for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford.

He made 38 appearances for the La Liga side and started in their victory over Roma on penalties in the Europa League final.

The Brazilian becomes the latest Premier League player to move to the SPL, following players such as N'Golo Kante, Roberto Firmino, Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves, who are among those to have signed up to play in Saudi next season.

He will reunite with former United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, whose move to Saudi Arabia in January has influenced other players from Europe.
