'All Na Wash' — Cynthia Morgan On Fallout With Davido

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has revealed the main reason for her fallout with colleague David 'Davido' Adeleke.

During a Question and Answer session on her Instastory, a fan had asked her to be truthful about the cause of the issue she had with Davido as he was the first artist who tried to reach out to her after her issues with Jude Okoye.

Davido“What's your issue with Davido?? Answer honestly. he was the first artist who tried to reach out to you", the fan wrote.

In response, Morgan wrote, “Omo all those levels na washhh. I tried to give it a benefit of doubt, played along so make dem no talk sey I too get pride. But in the end I was right!!!

“I hope we're done with this particular question? Since 2020! Make una let me rest ooo!."

Recall that after Cynthia Morgan took to social media to give details of her feud with Jude Okoye, CEO of Northside Entertainment, her former label, Davido asked her to call him as he had a verse for her.”

“Cynthia Morgan call me,” he wrote, adding in another post, “Tell Cynthia l got an anthem for her… I’ll record my verse now.”

Some months later, Morgan, in an interview with Hip TV accused Davido of ignoring her calls and messages despite asking her to reach out to him earlier in the year.

However, Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, stated that the claim by Morgan was not true in an interview with Punch.

“She knows that is not the truth. All these people are looking for clout; she is looking for who she would use to shine again.

“I know David sent her a song that she recorded. So, how did David send her the song if they did not communicate?

"It is one of the songs that we didn’t use for the album. She recorded her verse and sent it back to us. The song was recorded some months ago.”

Asika further revealed why the song was dropped by Davido, saying, “I actually do not like her verse.

"That is actually one of the reasons why we have not used the song. I personally do not like the song and I told David that I did not like it.”
