US President-elect Joe Biden, who recently received the long-awaited support of the incumbent administration in transitioning into the White House, declared that "America is back, ready to lead the world".
In his selection of cabinet members, Biden selected Avril Haines, although still unconfirmed, as the director of National Intelligence, making her the first female to lead that department.
Biden had said that his team would help shine on a goal that proved that "America is back, ready to lead the world".
Donald Trump recently directed that members of his administration cooperated with the incoming team, giving the Biden team access to the country's top-secret intelligence document.
Biden will also be given Presidential Daily Brief, updating the president on issues concerning external threats.
Although Donald Trump has yet to concede to Biden, he has directed the head of the General Services Administration (GSA) to "do what needs to be done".
