Operatives of the Amotekun Corps have reportedly foiled a kidnapping attempt in Saki, around Sharon Rose College area, Challenge, on Friday, March 12, 2022.
It was gathered that the operatives around 3:45 pm to 4:10 pm on Friday had rounded up the kidnapper who was pretending to be a lunatic.
The alleged kidnapper identified as Hajarah was apprehended while trying to lure one Taiwo Muhammad by giving him something to eat.
The Amotekun Corps later disclosed that the said woman only disguised to be a lunatic while she used items like sweet, orange, N20, dates and so on to entice innocent children to her den.
According to a Saki platform on Facebook, parents have to orientate their children against the ploys of kidnappers on the streets.
The matter has since been handed over to the police in Saki.
