Anambra Christian Forum Warns FG On Impending Food Scarcity

The Anambra State chapter of the National Christian Forum has raised alarm over impending food scarcity in Nigeria.

The association's president, Pastor Andrew Aversion, said in Nnewi on Monday that the activities of bandits have made farmers stay off their farms.

In his statements, he said, “Insurgents and bandits have taken over farmlands and it is so bad that Nigerians now pay the insurgents to stay alive."

“The Federal Government is aware of this dangerous development with the North being at the core of food production in the country. People can no longer go to the farm in the North because the insurgents have made farming impossible.

On his take on 2023 elections, he advised Nigerians to elect candidates with the right capacity to move the country forward.
