FIFA Best Men's Award

Carlo Ancelotti and Lionel Scaloni lead Best FIFA Men's Coach nominees in a 5-man shortlist released by the World football governing body on Thursday.

Italian tactician Ancelotti returned Madrid to former glory on his return to Spain by claiming a double -- La Liga and UEA Champions League, he won the Best Coach by the French football journalist award while his talisman Karim Benzema claimed the Ballon d'Or gong.

He would face stiff opposition from Argentine coach Scaloni whose recent World Cup triumph could eclipse Ancelotti's achievement.

Scaloni alongside his talisman Messi guided Argentina to their first World Cup in 36 years. He also led them to the Copa America title with a national record 36-game unbeaten run.
