Manchester United star, Angel Gomes says 'there are far more important issues out there in the world to tackle' than his 2016 healing visit to Prophet TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria.
AllNews reports that the highly-rated Englishman, 19, faced injury problems that upset his progress in the 2016-17 season.
In a video posted on TB Joshua Ministries' official Facebook page on Monday, the attacking midfielder was filmed at the SCOAN Headquarters in Egbe, Lagos receiving 'healing from a groin, hip and ankle injury'.
In a Twitter update on Tuesday morning on his verified handle, the man believed to be pursued by Chelsea says "I was just practicing my faith".
regarding the video that has come out from 2016. I am from a Christian family at the time my mum was a fan of the pastor, and she really wanted me to go. I was going through some issues. From the outside looking in it looks crazy, but I was just practicing my faith.

I didn’t really need to explain myself but a lot of people was asking me what the video was about. I was young at the time and if my parents thought something was best for Me I would do it. There are far more important issues out there in the world we can tackle.
