Angry Youths Storm Radio Station In Ibadan

AllNews Nigeria has gathered that angry youths have stormed the premises of a popular radio station in Ibadan.

The Aggrieved youths surprisingly invaded the premises of Radio Nigeria, Amuludun 99.1FM, Ibadan and shut the station down.

The cause of their grievance as of the time of filing this report has not been ascertained.

It was gathered that the youths besieged the station and wanted to take over the running of the programme.

It took the efforts of stern-looking security operatives who demobilised and chased the youths out of the station.

The radio station, which is located at J&P Bus-stop, Moniya in Ibadan, Akinyele local government area of the state, was established on October 10, 2007, and commenced transmission in pure and undiluted Yoruba language on October 22, 2007.
