Another Ogun Monarch Joins Ancestors

Information available to AllNews indicates that another traditional ruler has died.

The Adimula of Ado Odo, Oba Lateef Adeniran Akanni, Obaarun-Oladekan's sudden death was reported on Friday, January 7, 2021.

Oba Akanbi was installed as Oba of Ado and Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo on 2 May 2009.

Throughout his reign, he held the reignal name Ojikutujoye Obaarun Oladekan I, succeeding the deceased Oba J. O. Akapo, who died on 7 February 1989.

Before his ascension, the stool has been vacant for twenty years.
