Antonio's Overhead Kick, Foden Strike Draw City Against West

Pep Guardiola's men were held to a draw by West Ham United at the London Stadium after Phil Foden's goal canceled out Michail Antonio's opener.

AllNews understands that Manchester City had just taken 8 points from the available 15 points which speak about their form and wins since the start of the EPL 2020-21 season.

West Ham United drew first blood after Michail Antonio converted Vladimír Coufal's cross with an overhead kick in the 18th minute of the first half.

City could not respond in the first half as the first 45 minutes ended with Hosts in front.

After the half time team talk, Phil Foden was substituted in fro Kun Aguero and it took just 5 minutes for the England international to make his impact.

Joao Cancelo ran down the left flank past Coufal to drop a low pass for Foden, the 20-year old controlled the ball and with a quick turn fired a low ball into the left side of the post past Fabianski.

The second half sparkled straight into life.

The match was filled with hits and misses as none of the two sides could find the winner.

West Ham and Manchester City are leveled on 8 points with the Hammers on 10th and City on 1th with goal difference on the EPL table.

They both shared 1 point apiece and City travels back to Manchester to face Marseille in the Champions League and Sheffield United in the EPL.

David Moyes will travel with his men to Anfield to face Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in the next EPL Fixture.
