The suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has said that anyone who claims to have given him a bribe should step forward.
Magu, who is under investigation for fraud charges, said that if anyone had ever offered him a bribe, they should “come out publicly to confront him before the Justice Ayo Salami panel”.
He stated this in response to claims that he was complicit in the evasion of justice by a Nigerien, Hima Aboubakar.

The panel handling Magu's case only allowed the former acting chairman has two lawyers to defend him at a time.
He is facing charges of an ' ‘Alleged Abuse of Office and Mismanagement of Federal Government Recovered Assets and Finances’.
