APC Council Chairman Threatens To Sack Appointees Eho Fail T

The Chairman of Doma Local Government Council in Nasarawa State, Architect Usman Ahmed has threatened to sack any political appointee who fails to deliver his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial and state House of Assembly elections.

Ahmed gave the warning  during a closed door meeting with his political appointees at his residence in Doma, urging them to do all they can to ensure landslide victory for the governing party in their respective units.

“We've the polling units of all appointees. Anyone who fails to win his polling unit should forget about his/her appointment.

“I'll show no mercy to anyone. Win your polling unit or forget the appointment,” Ahmad said during the closed door meeting.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) had performed poorly in the area at the just-concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Angered by the defeat, Ahmad declared the next election scheduled for Saturday March 18, 2023, as a must win for the governing party.

“I swear to God, if any of you failed to win his polling unit; no need of this appointment.

"You must win your polling unit to retain your appointment.

“I'll spare no one. Any of my appointees who diappoints, I will also disappoint him,” the council Chairman warned angrily.

Doma is the hometown of the party's Deputy Governorship Candidate and incumbent Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.

The governing party lost the area in the 2019 gubernatorial election to the opposition Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
