APC Full Of Upright Candidates With Gombe, Nigeria At Heart - Yahaya

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is full of upright and competent candidates.

He noted that the candidates who are full of experience have Gombe State and Nigeria at heart. 

Governor Yahaya made this known on Thursday during his campaign in Dukku Local Government Area of the state.

The governor called on party officials, candidates and supporters to close ranks and work in synergy with common interest to deliver victory to the APC. 

Yahaya further called on the people to focus on the APC and relegate the opposition candidates in the state who he said "have nothing to offer the good people of Gombe State."

The governor also visited Malala town in the LGA where he presented APC flag to the party's candidate, Engr Nasir Abdulkadir as flag bearer for Dukku North State Constituency.

While presenting the flag, Yahaya said, "I am confident that Engr Nasir will never betray the confidence reposed in him by the electorate; he will definitely delivery Dukku North to the APC and lead us to victor by the grace of God. 

"Our campaign is not just about words and promises, it is about substance and delivery. 

"We have substantially kept to our campaign promises and with your support we shall Insha Allah consolidate on the gains of the first term. 

"We didn't let you down before and we shall never!"

The governor further stressed the need for people to collect their Permanent Voter's Cards in order to vote for the APC. 

"Whatever love you have for us, you cannot elect us to any position unless you have your PVCs. 

"So take advantage of the window of opportunity provided by INEC to collect your cards and vote for the APC from top to bottom."

As contained in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Ismaila Uba Misilli, Governor Yahaya appreciated the party members for their commitment, solidarity and support throughout his campaign tour.
