The Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Nentawe Yilwatda, has condemned the killing of seven persons in Jos South local government area by gunmen.
Nentawe also called for the arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous crime by security agencies through collaboration and synergy.
“It is disheartening that this dastardly act came at a time when the Plateau government is working round the clock to ensure lasting peace is restored in Plateau.
"It was an emotional and traumatic moment, I couldn't hold my tears when these golden souls were lowered.
"May their golden souls find peace with the angels and their families find comfort.
"Our security must step up their intelligence gathering, early warning, and early response to secure our people", he stated.
Nentawe Yilwatda has pledged to tackle insecurity in the state if elected governor.
He recently said as an expert in artificial intelligence, he would deploy technology to combat crime.
