The voting process by the National Delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come to an end and the presidential candidate of the party will soon be unveiled ahead of the 2023 elections.
Reports indicate that the winner will be chosen from among the APC national leader Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi.
Previously, Governors Kayode Fayemi, Abubakar Badaru, ex-Governor Ibikunle Amosun, and others announced that they were stepping down for Tinubu.
The former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, had accused the party of rigging the electoral process.
The voting which began at about 2 am on Wednesday came to an end by 7.45 am with tight security at the Eagles Square where it all went down.
