APGA

A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka, Comrade Obi Ochije-Modilim has called on politicians in Anambra state to focus on issues as they embark on their campaigns.

He urged them to eschew mudslinging and character assassination.

Comrade Ochije Modilim made the call while speaking to the Aanambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) Awka.

The APGA chieftain maintained that Anambra state has attained certain levels of political maturity and as such, all political campaigns in the state must be devoid of rancour and all forms of acrimony.

He appealed to politicians vying for various political positions to use their campaigns to tell Ndi Anambra what they will offer once they get into office and not discrediting their opponents with baseless allegations.

Comrade Ochije Modilim used the opportunity to advise eligible voters to ensure that they get their permanent voter cards, which he said is the only instrument they will use to vote in competent leaders during the forthcoming general elections.

The APGA stalwart further urged voters not to sell their votes during the election even as he appealed to politicians to stop vote buying and allow voters to vote candidates of their choice during the election.
