Arewa Youths Are Victims Of Deliberate Economic Sabotage— Naja'atu Bala Muhammad

A politician and activist, Naja’atu Bala Muhammad has accused politicians of deliberately keeping Youths in Northern Nigerian in what she described as economic bondage and poor living conditions.

Muhammad on Friday morning, on a breakfast radio program in Kano, says most youths are time bombs waiting to explode in time due to the untold hardship they are made to live in.

She alleged that politicians from the Northern region deliberately failed the youths to keep them wrapped around their thumbs to do their biddings, especially during elections.

According to her, the current generation of youths in the region are victims of deliberate denial of access to quality education, skills acquisition and enlightenment, this agenda is knitted by the political elites.

She accused the politicians of also sabotaging efforts to stimulate Arewa youths consciousness in a bid to keep them in power longer to loot public funds without objection.

Naja’atu then encouraged the Arewa youths to realize their potential, rise to the occasion and save themselves through accessing quality education.

The North has, in previous years witnessed open use of thugs to rig or completely stop elections in some areas.

As 2023 approaches, political activities are already being unveiled, with youths at the core centre of the plan.
