Armenian Prime Minister In Isolation After Testing Positive

Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinian has tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently self-isolating.

The Armenian government said in a statement on Wednesday that; "The prime minister of Armenia took a coronavirus test, which came back positive."

The statement also said; "Pashinian is asymptomatic and self-isolating as required and would continue to work remotely."

In June 2020, Pashinian and his family had the coronavirus.

Armenia has so far registered 355,662 coronavirus cases and 8,033 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
