Hollywood legend and former strongman Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have officially gone through with their divorce ten years after their marriage hit the rocks.
The separation was finalized on Tuesday, December 28 and TMZ reports that a Los Angeles judge signed the official document ending the 25-year marriage.
The divorce took a decade to finalize because of a 'lack of motivation' and a 'very complicated property settlement'.
Shriver, 66, filed for divorce from Schwarzenegger, 74, on July 1, 2011, after news that the former California Governor fathered a child with his former housekeeper.
The action star later admitted that the news was true, further sharing images of himself bonding with the child in question, Joseph Baena.
Reports say that the property settlement and the sharing of the former couple's $400 million fortune is confidential but that it is most likely that it will be split equally.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver got married on April 26, 1986. They have four children together; Katherine, 32, Christina, 30, Patrick, 28, and Christopher, 24.
