Arsenal Agree Personal Terms With Gabriel Jesus Till 2027

Arsenal are finalising a deal of £45 million for Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus after agreeing on personal terms with the Manchester City striker.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the personal agreement has been reached with a 5-year deal which puts him at the club till 2027.

Jesus, who previously worked with Mikel Arteta when the latter was an assistant coach at City, will sign a five-year contract with Arsenal.

Man City could use the funds to seal a move for Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The deal ends Arsenal's search for a striker following the departure of Alexandre Lacazette, who is returning to Lyon. Arsenal elected not to buy a striker in January despite Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joining Barcelona.

Earlier this month, Eddie Nketiah signed a new five-year contract with the club.

Jesus has long been identified as a critical target for Arteta, who will hope that the Brazil international will provide his team with an extra edge in attack.
