Arsenal Cruise Past Fulham, Gabriel Scores Debut Goal

Arsenal Cruise Past Fulham, Gabriel Scores Debut Goal

Arsenal cruised past newly-promoted Fulham on matchday 1 as Gabriel scored his debut goal to help the Gunners seal a 3-0 win, as the first win of the English Premier League (EPL) 2020-21 season.

Mikel Arteta's side was free-flowing with the ball up the field, runs from a different side of the pitch, and had more intensity than the newly-promoted Fulham which gave them a 3-0 win.

Lacazette scored the first goal for himself and Arsenal after a lovely run from Arsenal to find Aubameyang, who squares the ball in but Ream makes a mess of clearance in an attempt to block Xhaka low shot.

Willian got the ball and could have opened his account for Arsenal but Rodak saves it, Lacazette with the rebound scores for Arsenal to make it 1-0.

The first half ended with both sides trying to either equalize or extend the lead.

Just some minutes into the second half, a corner comes in from the right and Gabriel was there to head it into the net. The score became 2-0 at the Craven Cottage.

With two goals for the Gunner, the opposition seems weak and accepting defeat, but then came Aubameyang with the final finish.

It was a lovely counter-attack by Arsenal, just like the goal against Liverpool in the community shield, a lovely over-head pass to find Aubameyang alone in the left flank. He controls it and curled it into the net to make it 3-0 to the Emirate side at the Craven Cottage.

Willian could not get a debut goal but he surely gets a debut assist to the skipper.

The win was another London derby for Arsenal to claim the highest London derby win in the EPL history.
