Arsenal thrash West Ham United in London Derby Contest

Arsenal defeated West Ham United 6-0 as hostility ensued at the London Stadium with referee Craig Pawson officiating the match.

Arsenal was the favourites going into this match but West Ham United fancied their chances as the case may be in the contest.

However, the Gunners took the lead thanks to a special goal from defender Willian Saliba. Midfield player Declan Rice assisted the goal in the 32nd minute.

English young lad Bukayo Saka made it 2-0 via the penalty spot as he found the net in the 41st minute of the match.

The goals led to Arsenal's increase in confidence as they poured in with more goals in the first half.

Arsenal scored the third goal thanks to a brilliant finish from defender Gabriel Magalhaes in the 44th minute of the contest. Declan Rice assisted the goal for Magalhaes.

At the stroke of half-time (45+2 minutes), Leandro Trossard netted a goal to his credit to make it 4-0 following an assist from Martin Odegaard. It finished 4-0 in favour of Arsenal at the half-time break.

After the restart, Bukayo Saka netted Arsenal's fifth goal and his brace in the match as he scored three minutes after the hour mark to make it 5-0.

Then the impressive Declan Rice capped off an impressive evening of football with a goal in the 65th minute. He was set up by fellow defender Ben White.
