Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham express interests in Solanke

According to English Football Insider, London-based Premier League sides Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are all interested in a summer transfer acquisition of Bournemouth striker of Nigerian descent, Dominic Solanke.

Solanke was on target last weekend for the Cherries in their 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium against Manchester United and is currently one of the best marksmen in the Premier League with 17 goals

Solanke who is eligible to play for the Super Eagles has featured in every one of their 32 Premier League matches in 2023/2024, having been named in the starting XI in all 32.

A trip to Aston Villa on April 21 is the team's next Premier League match for Bournemouth and an opportunity for Solanke to further convince his admirers.

He set a new record for the highest number of goals scored by a Bournemouth player in a single Premier League season on Saturday surpassing Joshua King who managed 16 goals in 2016-2017. The club are currently 12th in the league table.

Born in England to a Nigerian father and British mother, Solanke is eligible to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles and declared in September 2023 that he has switched allegiance to Nigeria after he was repeatedly overlooked by the Three Lions of England selectors.
