Arteta Eyes League Double Over Liverpool At Anfield

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is eyeing a league double against Liverpool ahead of Sunday's Premier League showdown at Anfield.

The Gunners, who are chasing down their first league title since 2004, are looking to complete their first league double over Liverpool since the 2009-10 campaign.

Although Arteta's side won 3-2 at the Emirates in the reverse fixture in October, they have not managed to win consecutive league games against the Reds since September 2012.

Commenting on the challenge his side will face at Anfield on Sunday, the Spaniard said: "We have to fully embrace it and go for it.

"It's a chance to go to Anfield and do something we haven't done for many years."

On previously playing "You'll never walk alone" during training to prepare his players for a trip to Anfield, Arteta adds: "For us it's something normal.

"We prepare every game in a different way. That day, we decided to do that."

He however confirmed that Arsenal big game star player Bukayo Saka will be back in the starting lineup to face Liverpool.

Saka started on the bench against Leeds United due to illness as Arsenal sealed a 4-1 victory last Saturday.

His presence in attack for the Gunners in Sunday's game will be very much beneficial as the England international has established himself as one of the best player in the Premier League this season, scoring 12 goals and providing a further ten assists to help his side build up an eight-point gap at the top of the standings.
