Ex-Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo, has said that he is prepared to be attacked by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) .who do not like his antagonism of the group.
Speaking on his Facebook Live, Dokubo said he was happy to have busted the activities of IPOB, leading to the arrest of its leader Nnamdi Kanu by Nigerian authorities.
“When I say I will smoke Nnamdi Kanu out, you people thought I was joking.
"I don’t just talk, when I talk, I activate.
“So, me, I am ready for attack. I’m used to being attacked.
"Everybody was afraid. I busted you people. You are cannibals. I busted you, because I don’t just talk, I act.”
Dokubo is a major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
He was president of the Ijaw Youth Council for a time beginning in 2001 and later founded the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force which would become one of the most prominent armed groups operating in the Niger Delta region.
