Asensio Snubs Villa For PSG In €10M Deal

Spanish winger Marco Asensio is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after his contract with Real Madrid expired.

The 27-year-old will be signing a lucrative long-term deal with the French club, reportedly worth €10 million per year.

While the official announcement and signing are yet to take place, the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days.

He snubbed a move to Premier League side, Aston Villa with his relationship with Ocampos playing a crucial role in the decision-making.

Asensio will have the opportunity to say his goodbyes when his current team takes on Athletic Bilbao in the final game of the La Liga season. This match will mark the end of an eight-year tenure for Asensio with Real Madrid.

Asensio initially joined Real Madrid in 2015 from Mallorca and was subsequently loaned to Espanyol for a short period.

Now, Asensio is set to team up with French forward, Kylian Mbappe at PSG, where they will aim to make their mark on the footballing landscape as the French capital club bids farewell to Neymar and Messi.
