The Federal Government of Nigeria and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have taken a new turn as the FG is ready to meet the N15 billion revitalization fund, and use the old system instead of the IPPIS system for payment of withheld salary of staff after the meeting on Friday.
AllNews understands that the ASUU on-going strike is not yet over even with this latest development but it seems there have been common grounds between the two-parties and the strike could be suspended.
ASUU's Twitter page posted the recent development of how the meeting between the FG went. The meeting was presided by the Labour minister, Chris Ngige.
