Atletico Madrid swooped in to take the veteran striker off Barcelona books but unlike Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic transfer, Barcelona wants to take some amount from the club's third-highest scorer's transfer, and would not allow him to go for free.
According to Spanish reporter, Fabrizio Romano, the recent meeting between the two clubs is positive, and seems Luis Suarez will follow the steps of another Barcelona's Legend, David Villa by joining the Rojiblancos.

Suarez would partner either Diego Costa or Joao Felix to form another threatening and aggressive forward at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Both players are known for scoring goals and their aggressive nature in the opposition final third.
Atletico Madrid may have to sell Diego Costa if they will take Suarez but with the two world-class strikers in the team, Rojiblancos would be more competitive ahead of the new season.
