The Nasarawa State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has elected Dr Peter Attah as its new Chairman for a period of 2-years .
Attah, a native of the state polled 276 votes to returned elected in Wednesday's election of the association.
He defeated Dr Meshi Emmanuel and Dr Magnus Udo who scored 136 and 2 votes respectively.
Elected as Vice Chairman was Dr Isa Ohyoma while Dr Kelechi Ashiegbu was elected as Secretary with 254 votes.
Others include Dr Alu Mark Samuel as Assistant Secretary, Dr Agba Chris as Treasurer, Dr Usman Buhari as Financial Secretary and Dr Obele Yakubu Abalaku emerged as the Public Relations Officer of the association.
